Ntando Ngcapu & The Crayons present the original works of the 2017 Samro Overseas Competition winner pianist and composer, Ntando Ngcapu.
His work expresses his interpretation of modern jazz music in a modern South African society.
Like any artist who chooses his medium carefully, Ntando and his bandstand members – The Crayons - encapsulate the sonic reference in contemporary South Africa through the dynamism of cultural influence from music to the aesthetics of the time.
